Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking - Capital Markets – Debt Markets Internship

Within BNP Paribas’ CIB division, the Debt Markets EMEA team gathers a group of 100+ loan (structured and vanilla) and bond (high grade and high yield) originators located in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, Milan, Madrid and Lisbon, covering the bank’s core clients in Europe across all economic sectors. Debt Markets EMEA team regroups three main teams: (i) Leveraged Finance Capital Markets (LFCM), (ii) Domestic Debt Markets (DDM), and (iii) Investment Grade Finance (split between DCM and Loan).

The LFCM and DDM teams are responsible for the origination, structuring, underwriting and execution of LBO and Corporate Leveraged financings (LFCM) and integrated financing solutions to midcap and sub-investment grade corporate clients (DDM), respectively. IG Finance team is specialized on investment grade bond and loan financings to large corporates.

In the Milan office, the intern will integrate the platform of juniors supporting the various Debt Markets teams across Origination, Execution and Portfolio Management (the latter with reference to LFCM only).
